- A graph showing the frequency with which storage equal to or greater than selected amounts will be required to maintain selected rates of regulated flow.
- Storm
- A disturbance of the ordinary average conditions of the atmosphere which, unless specifically qualified, may include any or all meteorological disturbances, such as wind, rain, snow, hail, or thunder.
- Storm seepage
- That part of precipitation which infiltrates the surface soil, and moves toward the streams as ephemeral, shallow, perched ground water above the main ground-water level. Storm seepage is usually part of the direct runoff.
- Storm Surge
- A rise of the sea, preceding a storm (usually a hurricane) due to the winds of the storm and low atmospheric pressure.
