River - Saline
The Saline River, a tributary of the Ohio River, is located in southern Illinois. It is 76 miles in length and has a drainage area of approximately 1,170 square miles. Its major tributaries include the Little Saline River and Sugar Creek. The Saline River originates as South Fork Saline River, which flows east for 49 miles and becomes the Saline River in southern Saline County. The river then continues east and drains to the Ohio River at the border between Gallatin and Hardin counties.
